After you purchase your essential oils, make sure to keep them in a dark (amber or cobalt blue) glass bottle, tightly sealed and in a cool dry place as light and air will quickly cause them to loose their properties.  You can keep your citrus essential oils in the refrigerator to extend their shelf life.
